Guided by the principles of Ignatian discernment, the Academic Advising Center supports students throughout their Íæż½ã½ã academic journey. We help ensure students meet all Core Curriculum requirements while guiding them to academic programs aligned with their interests and talents.Â
Summer Courses
Students can take summer courses for enrichment or to make up for a past failure, withdrawal, or underload. Students can take a maximum of four courses per summer.Â
Students may choose to take summer courses at any accredited four-year college or university for enrichment or credit. Only students who have credit deficiencies can receive credit for pre-approved courses taken outside of Íæż½ã½ã. Students taking courses for enrichment should review the summer course policy on the Academic Policies page.Â
Students must submit a Course Pre-Approval Form prior to registering for the summer course outside of Íæż½ã½ã.

Non-Íæż½ã½ã Summer Courses: Credit vs. Enrichment
For all questions about Íæż½ã½ã Summer Session (registration, tuition, add/drop, etc), please contact Íæż½ã½ã Summer Session at summersession@bc.edu.
First-year students who have already met with their advisor and have more in-depth questions may make an advising appointment with their Academic Administrator.Â
